This sash lock is constructed of diecast zinc and comes in a white painted finish. It features a 3/8 inch latch projection that engages into the fixed rail of the top sash, and it mounts holes are 2-1/16 inch on center. This sash lock can be used on vertical single and double hung aluminum sliding windows, as well as on horizontal aluminum sliding windows. This sash lock includes one cam-action latch with fasteners. A locking replacement for this lock would be the Prime-Line part U 9933.
